Duck Foot

The Trusted Name in Header Precision and Harvest Efficiency

About Duck Foot

Duck Foot Parts was founded by Saskatchewan farmers to solve a common harvest challenge: reducing header loss. Their solution was the Duck Foot® paddle tine, a quick clip-on attachment that slips over factory tines to improve crop feeding. The 6-inch paddle is designed for soybeans, lentils, wheat, chickpeas, straight cut canola, lupins, and other specialty crops. By lifting and feeding short or thin crops that standard tines often miss, it helps reduce loss, improve threshing, and increase ground speed—all with easy installation and proven durability. Since its debut in 2018, Duck Foot has won innovation awards and is now available for nine major header brands.

What Makes Duck Foot a Trusted Choice

Engineered for Efficiency in Every Harvest: The Duck Foot paddle tines increase tine surface area by about 47%, so crops feed into the header more efficiently. That smoother flow helps reduce header loss, improve ground speed, and cut operating time.

Quick to Install, Built to Last: These tines slip over factory tines and lock into place with a patented clip, no tools needed. One person can outfit a foot of header in under a minute, and a 35-foot header in about 20 minutes. Durable resin construction and UV protection mean they hold up year after year.

Field-Tested, Farmer-Approved Results: Tested across a wide range of crops like cereals, soybeans, lentils, canola, and more, Duck Foot tines have shown up to 75% reduction in header loss and a 20 to 22% boost in ground speed. They have been trusted on everything from downed wheat to tall soybeans, and in fields around the globe.
